Study areas

The first step in deciding what to study is to investigate our research interests:

We offer the Master of Arts (MA) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

How to apply

Once you have a sense of the project you want to work on please contact the Faculty Higher Degree Research team to express your interest in postgraduate study. They will send you the necessary paper work that will allow us to assess your eligibility for a research degree, and also begin the process of finding a supervisor for your project, if one is available. Once assessed by the School, if you are successful you will be invited to proceed to a full application. If you are not eligible for a research degree, or if there is no supervisor available for your project, the faculty team will also notify you. Normally all students should go through this process prior to submitting an application for MhD or Master of Philosophy, or a scholarship application. It is not a requirement that you have found a supervisor to start this process. The 'expression of interest' process is designed to assist you in finding an appropriate supervisor.
